Meet the Team: Victoria Steven

web_victoria-stevenAn architect with more than 20 years of experience working with commercial, institutional, and municipal clients, Victoria is adept at collaborating with colleagues throughout the duration of the design process. In addition to a number of institutional projects, Victoria contributed to the St. James Place development in Porter Square, Cambridge.

The Dudley project resonates with Victoria on several levels. “I lived in this area when I first moved to Boston so contributing to its future seems a fitting way to pay it forward,” she says. As a child, Victoria’s mother served as the Chairman of the Board of Education for West Hartford. “Working for the Boston Public Schools now pays homage to someone who was very important to me.” As an architect, she loves working on complex, multi-faceted projects. “Fitting the new Boston Public Schools headquarters into this site to repurpose and reinvigorate the Ferdinand building as well as the adjacent Curtis and Waterman buildings is the type of challenge I absolutely love to tackle.”

Victoria is a senior associate at Sasaki. She is an NCARB-certified registered architect who attended Pratt Institute.

As part of our “Meet the Team” series, we will periodically feature a different member of our construction team.
