REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – (RFP) FOR COMMON AREA PROGRAMMING SERVICES FOR THE ROXBURY COMMUNITY

The Ferdinand Building Development Corporation, acting on behalf of the Dudley Square Realty Corporation(DSRC) for the City of Boston through its Property and Construction Management Department (the City), hereby requests separate proposals for: 1) the individual lease of approximately 3,350 square feet of second floor space at the Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building (the “Building”), located at 2300 Washington Street, Roxbury, MA 02119 for the purpose of operating  the Roxbury Innovation Center and 2) the Building’s common area programming services from an individual or non-profit entity for the benefit of the community.

The request for proposals (RFP) package describes in greater detail the leasing opportunity, aspirations and objectives for the Roxbury Innovation Center, leasable space, lease terms, proposal submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and selection processes. The RFP also describes in greater detail the Building’s programming services sought and evaluation criteria and selection process for these services.

The RFP package will be available on or about November 3, 2014 at the Property and Construction Management’s Bid Counter, located at 26 Court Street, 10th Floor, Boston, MA 02108 to all interested parties. To receive a copy of the RFP package via email, send a written request to Bidinfo@boston.gov.  Substantive questions concerning the RFP package are to be submitted in writing and emailed to Bidinfo@boston.gov on or before November 19, 2014 at 2:00pm (EST).

The City has arranged for a Proposers’ Conference on November 13, 2014 at 6:00 p.m., at the Bruce C. Bolling Building’s construction site office located at 22 Warren Street, Roxbury, MA.  There will be an exchange of information through a question and answer period and a guided tour of the Roxbury Innovation Center space. Interested proposers are strongly encouraged to attend.
